Most users ever online was 196 on 11-13-2005, 06:42 PM That is a lot of concurrent users. No offense to the WWG crew, but I gotta think it musta been a webcrawler or something. |

Does the "most users ever online" count unregistered visitors (like webcrawlers)? How many webcrawlers could visit at one time? |

I'm not sure how phpbb handles visitors like that. Probably counts them as unique visitors (guests). The way most crawlers work is to hop from one link to the next, so depending on the frequency setting of that particular crawler, it is easily imaginable that one could hit a whole bunch of pages all at once. I've seen it happen before. |
