I am sure it is a burning question for y'all ![]() Anyway, I have been swamped at work for the last month or so. Taking off a week to go to the Independence Bowl and a another week to go to San Francisco for the Macworld conference (4 days of Photoshop and Acrobat training from the pros, woohoo!) didn't help. Why is the last bit about SF important? Well, it just so happens to be awfully close to our own Aleph! Last night I met up with Aleph and his lovely and talented wife MizAleph. They are two of the nicest and coolest people I have ever met. We had a great dinner together and then spent another 4 hours or so chatting about paper modelling, WWG, gaming in general, health (blech ![]() What was MizAleph doing during all of this? Besides chiming in every once and a while, she was drawing and tattooing a new piece of work on my arm (did I mentinon JUST HOW INCREDIBLY TALENTED SHE IS?). The new piece is downright awesome and it even has some relevance to WWG (hint: it is the x-acto knife running off the right side of the pic). It was really great to meet Aleph and MizAleph. Heck, it will probably end up being the highlight of this trip. |

Sounds like a great trip. My company sent me to SF to MacWorld in 98. Was a fun trip, so I can see how you had such fun. I want to take my wife to SF one of these days for vacation. The tat looks great, Aleph's wife is talented! Skunk Check out my fantasy campaign, Wizard Quest, a world using Wizards of the Coast’s 3.5 DnD system by visiting . DNA, it was great meeting you in person! (And you beat me to the pics!) We had a blast. Went to Claim Jumper restaurant for dinner, and talked all night. Lots of talk about work areas, Mac setups, and kitbashes. Heh. We went over on time, so ended up driving DNA back to SF, rather than him having to take BART. ![]() MizAleph (otherwise known as Natasha ![]() Here's the WIP shot (freehanded with Sharpie and ball point pen): Here's the final piece: And here's a decent group shot! |

I must admit, I'm impressed. But it must be somewhat intimidating when you go into a meeting with your product on your skull..... ![]() But having your eyelids and lips inked must have been a pain.... |
