I have been a long time roleplayer, and are recently using miniatures more and more in my games. I am wanting to get terrain and scenery involved. Just curious if any local KC people are into this. Soon I will be doing my first wwg project (hilltop/portal recommended), wish me luck lol... ![]() |

May also want to check out the thread, and add yourself to the Frapper map. Don't see anyone from KC on the map yet, but that doesn't mean they're not out there. Not everyone's on the map, and we have plenty of lurkers as well... |

Hello all, I too am in the KC area (just south of raytown). I use most of my stuff for wargaming (Warlord, Homebrew, and starting soon Chain Reaction). Going to have to rebuild my Castleworks layout (lost it in a flood in my old rental house). Also just wanted to point out that Ed from Two Hour Wargames will be coming to Recruits here in Lee's Summit. Recruits is an awesome little gaming con put on by the Lee's Summit High School Wargaming club. >.< SO UNFAIR I never had a wargaming club in any of my dozens of schools. These kids can also LETTER in wargaming.....o.O Maybe some of us MO people can meet up there? |

I don't know that I will be able to make it that weekend (I have to put in big mileage around then as part of my marathon training program). If I don't go and some of the St. Louis people are going (and would want to stop for a bit in Columbia), then I would be happy to loan out my Mayhem Armoury and Mars Station builds for use as terrain. Anybody interested? |

Tredhed: That con sounds really inviting. I wish I could go, but I'm busy with Grad school stuff that weekend. Have fun with that, though, and keep us St. Louis people informed with future events, huh? ![]() Have fun with the marathon training DNA. You'll have to show off some of your builds sometime (us new guys anyway) -Polycarp |
