How is everyone? Just posting my hello as a new and very interested player. I've recently found the Worldworks scenery items at Drive Thru RPG, and I have a feeling I am about to add a few of them to my collection of scenery items. I love the way they are made, and it a lot less expensive to use these rather than the plastic sets that sometimes seems overpriced. That's good with a burgeoning family. *grins* So, I hope to meet everyone here eventually, and one day I hope I'll be able to add something of value to the community. Until next time! -Beli |

Hiya Belirahc, and welcome to the WWG's forums. Your quite welcome amongst us and I'm sure in time you'll find ways to be of value, just by adding yourself to the general discussion you already have. If you can, take pics, everybody loves pics (and Denny loves in game pics), can't wait to hear about your builds, and if you need help, just ask, this is a great and supportive community ![]() |

Thanks you two. Glad to hear that this is a great place! Actually, one of the first things I'm planning on getting is the Firstlight and retrofit packs. I'm going to be using them to design ship layouts for an online Play-By-Post I have planned. Of course, one will be the player's ship, but other ships, such as derilects and enemy warships will go great. I'll be taking pictures (top down) and using them to help detail combat or searches during the game. *grins* I'll be sure to post pictures when I have them! |

Hey everyone! As to the system I am using, I use many different ones, but I'm heading back a one of my favoritea; Big Eyes, Small Mouth 2nd edition with the Space Fantasy suppliment (of course). It has always been a favorite for PbP games, as it is pretty simple and lets the players get into the larger than life heroics that I love to have in certain stories. I have a little work to do before I actually get the game up and running, like actually getting the layout of the player's ship, setting it up for them to explore, and getting the derelict ready as well. I'll definately make sure to have pictures for everyone if I get it going like I want to. I have a strange idea for recreating the Temple of Elemental Evil one day, but that will be a while from now I think. *grins* |
