Hi, all! Just wanted to share a bit of our fun with you! We had our official grand re-opening on April 1st (no joke!). So this is the place that's been consuming all my time! Here's a shot that shows off some of the hard work we undertook during the remodel. The merchandising isn't all done yet, but it'll give you an idea. We went from grey walls and white slatwall to this: (click for a larger image) Note the great job our painter (Steve Koelling) did on our walls (all the bricks, etc were hand-painted! Man, he was sick of castle bricks after 742 of them! ![]() |

The store looks nice, but am I the only one that wants to beat the crap out of that kid in the background with the hat? Damn, I hate people that wear their hats like that. It does make it easier to spot the d-bags who give in to fads though. |

Actually, if you look carefully, he has the baseball cap at an angle with the birthday party hat on the other side stuck out as a horn, which is the perfect thing to wear for the opening of a game store, at least if you remember the old D&D cartoon series where that fashion was worn by Vengor. Remember, the guy with the purple wimple with the horn on one side trailing the frilly tippet? Supposedly the Incarnation of Evil? Back in high school, my friend Katie and I decided that he was the Incarnation of Evil as Conceived of by the Editors of Vogue. |

That is a great looking store and if you guys notice, there's a female to the right, so obviously the store caters to more than just us geeks! ![]() Gotta say it's fantastic that you can be part of it. We have some great stores around here, but most don't have much room for gaming. Can't say I blame them though, you either have space for stock or space for gaming. Ah the dream of opening a gaming club still rattles around in the back of my head. ![]() Skunk Check out my fantasy campaign, Wizard Quest, a world using Wizards of the Coast’s 3.5 DnD system by visiting . Do you need some WWG terrain for the store? I am thinking about getting rid of all of my Mars Station stuff to make room for other stuff. It might take a big box to ship it to you, but at least it won't weigh much . ![]() |

If Aleph isn't interested (though I'm sure he will be), I'd be interested for personal gaming. Let me know... Arabin |
