I gotta say that I love the models themselves despite the textures.
The fact that I KNOW they will look cool at my desk here at the office makes me giddy at having started this hobby.
(ok...maybe giddy is not the right word

I hope it is ok to post this here. If not I apologize and please delete. For those Sci-Fi and MechWarrior fans out there MechWarrior.org has released several new paper mechs that are to scale with 25/28mm figures. These are totally free models. I have over half a dozen made myself and they are pretty cool. Need to make some mayhem buildings (at regular scale) for some background scenery.[/img] |

Ouch! My head hurts just looking at that origami model. Incredible... As for the mechwarrior models, I can't open the files. I wouldn't have minded taking a look at them, but don't really have enough use to install a bunch of software specifically for it. Arabin |

It's the Pepakura Viewer program you need. You just need to install a small PDO viewer program. Load it, load the MECH.PD0 file and print. I don't have the website addy handy here at work. But google it, it's fairly popular. ~Floyd |

Here's the link to the viewer: I looked at some of the textures and they seem a bit...clunky. Still though...wow...I may build one or two just for the challenge. |

The mechs are suppose to look like the ones from the game. The mechs made from MW4 have better textures and that games textures where better. Zeck (the guy that makes them) is actually damn talented with CGI and I have seen some of his other pictures. If you check out the forumns he has released a Raven in beta. I'm half finished with it now. |
