Check it out - new sets listed 'Hoverforce Zeropoint' (sf) - I'm gueessing some type of hover/floaty base station 'Codename: Hostile Takeover' - Something to use the modern/sf sets with? Let the speculation begin! ![]() |

Hoverforce Zeropoint' (sf) Did you notice that Mel Ebbles is listed on this one. We are seeing the first collaberation between the 2 paper craft companies. (Floyd does a happy dance) It will be very interesting to see what exactly this set is. One thing I'd bet on seeing is vehicles. It would be cool if this is part of the "other army" to go with Mel Ebbles new line of miliatry-quasi military- vehicles rolling out almost weekly over at his site. ~Floyd |

Oh wow, darn i should hit that front page more often... Hoverforce Zeropoint... the mind boggles... but sounds Cool!... While Mel's own line of vechicles have served me very well, and totally Rock, built every one of the floaters, and lots of the others, so far except the gryfalcon (just haven't had the time). I now wonder what this set is. More niffty little floaters, or even attack craft? The idea of "force" makes me think of a whole line of ships of some sort. I would LOVE to see a bunch of different "fighters". Between Mel and Ebbles we can make huge transports, the interiors of capital ships and space stations, but just a few smaller scale ships. The UD-41 is a great little number, and so is the gyrfalcon and the R-36, and even the little one you can make from Retrofit. But i want MORE fighters.... i hope this has one or eight. |

Hoverforce Zeropoint could just be a reference to the fact that they're just a floating force of vehicles, and not necessarily give a military connotation. Just speculation on my part. ![]() ~Steve |

I was over on Mel's when i got the idea that this was going to be a BIG shift... The ZeroPoint aspect makes me think of space ships... for some reason. I was toying with the idea that this would be a bunch of fold up fleets of miniature ships, but don't think that is right... oh Post 500! |

Anyone notice something different on this thread - one of the last posts has an inconsistent, one that matches with the WIP. ![]() Also think back to a thread that had no real substance (ok alot of threads have no real substance but this one even the title didn't) ![]() And how come I know this? I'm a tricky bastard! ![]() Lord Abaddon of Wormwood |

Hostile Takeover. Could we atleast know if it's a: 1. Tactical level skirmish system or 2. RPG w/miniatures rules (ala Showdown for Savage Worlds) I think this could be very cool to have a core miniatures system for their various sets. ~Floyd |

I wasn't really paying attention... did it move?, it is still pretty far down on the left but if it did, then darn... what i joked about over at Mel's page may have been right... ![]() That Mel who seems to churn out weekly sets of smaller models might "speed up" what seems to be the S L O o o w pace of WWG. ![]() ![]() Not that I'm complaining on the quality of WWG, it's just they keep us So much in the loop with info on sets and things like the WIP that we tend to agnoize over the sets that intrest us and go "eh" to those we don't... I will patiently wait for the things i want, but got to admit Mel's line of ships really caught my eye and the Pure Sci-Fi of it has had me hanging out over there more, and just nipping by over here... But the mel/WWG combo has me back here now drooling hoping to catch tommorrows show to hear more on HFZP. |
