I remember bringing this up eons ago. It would make a nice advertising revenue stream for WWG, except for the following: Hypothetical situation: Company A buys advertising space for $1.00 a download. Then company A either goes OoB or they cancel the contact, then they get free advertising with every download, or it becomes a wasted space if the company is POOF (gone). And how to you handle changing advertisers... then there would be an update and downloads and should company B who hasn't changed, have to pay for redownloads and how do you track that... etc. I do love this idea and would be awesome to see the hurtles overcome and make it real. Creativity is what it's all about. |

I think it's a matter of convincing Company A that the deal is worth $XXX flat fee per ad per set. That way WWG is not on the hook if A cancels/crashes the day after the set comes out. Comp. A is gambling that the set will do well enough to recoup the investment (but with these products it's not much of a gamble). |
