I couldn't agree more CCotD. I would have LOVED to get faction specific terrain with each set... and I might have been forced to get them all just to get a full set. It is also a huge shame, and major missed opportunity for all parties, for there to be no terrain CD with the upcoming expansion. On WWG Chat 13, we ran out of time before I could ask Denny what the situation is with Rez, and if we were likely to see anything else from the partnership. Then I missed WWG 14... so I still have the burning need to ask. Arabin |

Getting the starter terrain posted for sale via the WorldWorks store is totally in Simon's court (Creator of Rez). The terrain I did for that set was subcontracted and I was paid a flat fee for doing the work. We would have to create a new distribution contract to make those files available here. I'm not sure where Simon stands on that but I will send him a message and find out. I was hoping to create terrain for all of the expansion sets for Rezolution but things didn't work out that way. As a matter of preference the Rez crew seems more content with scratch built terrain over cardstock. I'm not cutting them down for that, it's really hard to get people over to the cardstock side of the force ![]() This topic has given me a unique idea however...Give me a few days ![]() *EDIT*: I should mention that there has been incredible user support for our terrain at Rezolution. |

I know I'm not alone in looking forward to hearing more about your idea Denny. It's great to finally hear how things stand, and I want to thank you for the update. It is a real shame they feel the way they do, but as you said, it's understandable considering peoples initial aversion to cardstock. However, and this may tie in to you idea, I can't help wondering if you could release official sets, like Mars Station, that support the game. Rez gets extra advertising through your site and pleases the many players of theirs that do use the cardstock terrain, and you get another successful set built from existing ideas and with an expanded sales base. Sorry, I'm probably not too coherant right now... as always... need more caffeine. Arabin |
