It's the program that comes with Adobe Acrobat (full version) that makes a PSD into a teeny, tiny PDF. That way, you don't have to download 60MB pages. ![]() |

Thanks Aleph. Those columns are a little surprising though. It seems like they could have all been bundled together in one set rather than each seperated by set. Also, no offense to Bob here, and I could be wrong, but it looks like the tab on the end is a single flap... but it would have made more sense to do that as a double flap like Paul did in Mars Station. Hmm, if these columns count as a Kitbash, perhaps I should submit my vats and slime tumblers. Arabin |

Definitely submit the vats! As for the columns, the geometry is taken directly from DWC and CW - it's not Bob's homebrew. Kitbashes are generally (with very few exceptions) limited to about 4 pages, so this was the best way we could make sure that it got split up in a manner that makes sure you only have to buy the ones you want, and don't get stuck with columns form a genre (or specific set) that you have no use for! ![]() |

Makes sense, although you should probably edit the descriptions for all of the columns. They all state that the kitbash comes with 10 columns... which is a little misleading. I'll see if I can put something together for the vats ![]() Arabin |

It's only misleading in that I don't know what each kitbash purchase would get me, if purchase on it's own. At first, I thought all I would get is what was pictured... so for example, the Urban Mayhem hex column purchase would get you just the Urban Mayhem single column. But then when I read the description it says" "I'm a big fan of the hexagonal columns from DungeonWorks Classic and CaveWorks, and have created a bash of those same columns in seven other textures (a total of 10 columns in the kitbash)!" So is it 1, 7 or 10 in that single purchase? If I check the sci-fi column, it could be 1, 9 or 10. Like I said (or implied), it's confusing. Arabin |

Okay... The description says "These hexagonal columns feature textures from Mayhem Armory, Streets of Mayhem and Bits of Mayhem." That seems pretty straightforward to me. Granted, there's no images of each one, but talk to Bob about that. ![]() Seriously, though, do you have a suggestion on how it might be re-worded? Perhaps simply removing the "a total of 10" part? |

Yup, it's confusing. One way to solve it is to add one line at the end of each description saying "this kitbash file contains the hexagonal column in an XXX texture". |

Aleph, although the description is straightforward to you, I still have no clue how many columns are in each purchase. I will go with the assumption that each individual purchase is just that individual column, and does not contain the textures for the other columns. The thing is, for a customer, the kitbash is the single item you are purchasing for $0.50. For you, the kitbash submitted was all the columns (7, 9, or 10... still not sure). If I, as the customer, am browsing the Mayhem line of kitbashes, I would want the description to tell me specifically about the product I'm looking at. I see three interpretations for what it could mean, and so this post will be excessively long to respond to all three. It would have saved so much time if you had just answered my question ![]() INTERPRETATION 1 Set contains a single column as pictured. You could do as Conaill said, something like: "This kitbash file contains the hexagonal column in an XXX texture ONLY." You could also add something like: "Here are the other textures available to purchase seperately: - Mayhem Column - First Light Column - Etc." Then link to each individual column from the description. INTERPRETATION 2 Set contains all the columns together. If, on the other hand, the purchase actually includes all the columns, then it really would have helped if you had just said that ![]() If it truly is all of the textures together, then it should picture all of the ones contained therein and honestly, it shouldn't be listed multiple times. Place it in a single location under miscellaneous. INTERPRETATION 3 (Just occurred to me while writing this) The Mayhem column kitbash actually contains 10 different columns from a total of 7 textures, and are only available in the Mayhem pack. If this is the case, change the name to Mayhem Columns, and do away with any mention of DungeonWorks Classic and CaveWorks. Lastly, add a photo of exactly what the set contains. If it is something else entirely then just explain it differently. My head now hurts from trying to figure this out. I could just go ahead and purchase it to find out what it is, but 1) I object to doing that, and 2) If I am confused, I can guarantee that other customers will be as well. Hopefully this clears things up, but if not, please don't say "it looks fine to me", just explain it differently. Cheers, Arabin |

Ah! See - I got it wrong too! ![]() In that case, I would just say "... a bash of those same columns in nine Sci-Fi textures." or "...seven Mayhem textures" etc. Leave out the "total of 10 columns in the kitbash" part - that's just confusing. Another approach would simply be to have a picture with all the columns in each kitbash. That would make it much easier to pick between the three fantasy "pillar packs" as well. (More work for you, of course.) |

I agree that a picture would be easiest, but Bob never supplied me with said image. ![]() How's this (using Urban Mayhem as an example): "These hexagonal columns feature seven unique textures from Mayhem Armory, Streets of Mayhem and Bits of Mayhem." So much for filling the space with descriptive text. ![]() ![]() |
