Post subject: | *NEW* W.I.P Meter Up and Running |
As most of you know I had a horrific hard-drive crash which wiped out not only 'Streets of Himmelveil' but many other bits of important data relating to WorldWorks. The WIP meter (Work In Progress) was just one of many things I lost in that crash. I have reworked the meter and updated the content on our homepage. You may notice many new items on the meter as well as some old ones moved around or omitted from the line up. Most noticeably 'Streets of Himmelveil' has moved back in the development cue for obvious reasons and the 'Himmelveil Docks' has been removed completely. Before you freak out about the docks please understand that we do intend on revisiting that area of development (it is not off the table). The reason it was removed was that in the course of working out a development arch for Himmelveil it was decided that other key areas needed to be developed first. These areas slated for development are much more important to the overall scheme of Himmelveil (some of which aren't even listed on the WIP yet). This is also an issue of timing as the delay in SOH has had a cascading effect which has forced us to reconsider how and when things will be released. There are also projects in the cue that have a closer relationship to the new modules coming out of Arcraetia. Most importantly the changes to our product lineup have happened because we want to keep things fresh, innovative and exciting for all users. These projects play to the strengths of our designers and I have no doubts that our decisions will please both Fantasy and Sci-fi fans alike. If you have any questions I will do my best to answer them in my vague annoying way. WWG radio listeners know that they can get the dirt out of me "on-air" pretty easily ![]() |

Shadowcore Prime is a weirdass name for a Western set. ![]() I'm hoping its a reaction to the wish that the community could get Rezolution terrain without getting a starter set. So it looks as though Mr Senior might be back in his element. CodeName: Blacktop by Matt. Well just a throw n the dark here but I'm thinking a second to Platform Command (Ya think so Abaddon *slap to the back of the head*). Maybe a complex thing - like in Half-Life. CodeName Underwood: A set by Denny - Just a guess but maybe a Western set?!?! Then again it could be a morge for Mayhem *Edit* Cool Avatar Denny - makes you look smart *smack* Smarter! *Edit take 2* Just noticed that Matt's Blacktop has Fantasy mark on it's card... crap there goes that idea Lord Abaddon of Wormwood |

Don't forget that you can crush your hopes and dreams by checking out the three letter genre code next to the model sets. ![]() |

Hey Denny, any chance of getting SoH development sped up by getting Paul to help out as well? Blacktop has to be a selection of street surfaces: dirt road, cobblestone, alley with sewage running down the middle, flagstones, roman highway, anything all the way up to asphalt freeways (that is what blacktop means, after all...) Underwood I would guess to be trees and bushes, plus perhaps some elven tree buildings. As usual, thanks for the info, Denny (no matter how cryptic ![]() |

Just joining in the guessing game, although I have to say that I'm very excited about the four sets mentioned below, and love that they are all listed as Large sets. Anyway, on with the guesses: CODENAME: UNDERWOOD (Fantasy) At first glance, this really sounds like a western setting... which would be cool to see that style of building upgraded from what is currently out there, and there is a big demand for it. However, something that is even more long overdue, is a forest, with trees, bushes, possibly even a treetop village of some kind. SHADOWCORE PRIME (Sci-Fi) All that has been said about this is that the project make Paul "giddy like a demented Cthulhu school boy". Cthulhu isn't Sci-Fi, so I don't think that was a hint. I can only imagine this is some kind of dark and forboding space station, armed to the teeth... possibly a space pirates lair or something. STREETS OF HIMMELVEIL (Fantasy) I believe this will be the cobblestone streets that Conaill mentions. It would fit with the Streets of Mayhem (also my Denny) and would hopefully be compatible, therefore making either very cool fantasy streets (primary usage) or old style modern/near future towns. CODENAME: BLACKTOP (Fantasy) Since Denny said this would fit well with both fantasy or modern setting... and the name is only temporary, I really have no idea what this could be unless it's one of the things I mentioned above, and I was wrong above. I guess this could be a western set. Arabin |

Jeesh. LOL Okay, for all of you people who can't wait a few weeks for updates, use this from now on (the WIP doesn't seem to be cutting it): Those of you who have seen MI know where I'm coming from. |

Just came back from seeing MI3 - not bad but can't wait for the Special DVD Edition where Tom doesn't get up from the missle explosion. My only workk about the up and comming products is that there seem to be Large releases on the go, all back at the starting blocks. Denny you really do have size issues. Lrod Abaddon of Wormwood |
