As some of you know, I LOVE to play with these different sci fi sets, mix-n-match them, etc and come up with fun new stuff. The quality of the individual sets has been extraordinary, to date, so I tip my hat to Paul and Denny (and crew) and I'm as excited as a 4 year old boy watching a construction site (which btw, is REALLY, unbelievably excited, like ready-to-explode-with-excitement) to get my hands on some high quality awesomeness with the upcoming Shadowcore Prime set...even knowing nothing at all about it. My only request of Paul is as follows: Please print and pre-test test this set against some of the other sets already available and see how compatible or 'mixable' it really is with other WWG sci-fi products. I found that the textures for FL and FL:R were quite different than those for PCON. Mars Station is a nice halfway point, but its noticeably different from the rest as well. I knoiw, I know...I already get the idea that these are different terrains, and different "feels" you're going for, but a compatibility rating, or recommended blending score would be great. If, for example, Shadowcore Prime combines well with First Light, but not Platform Command, or with Mars Station, but not the others, please either try to make it fit some of the other sets, or let us know which one(s) it will (ideally) combine best with. I think I said that really poorly but I'm loath to re-type it all, as I've a week old baby boy fussing on my lap. Bouncing him, and typing one-handed is not working. I'm out of practice keeping these little creatures content (plus I lack the right equipment). Looking forward to S-core Prime! |
