I can understand not keeping these around forever, for the same reason why Denny doesn't want to keep his ancient sets on sale right next to his latest work. But I for one would definitely have bought at least a couple of these sets, if only I had *known* they were going away...

Anyone else in the same boat? Maybe we can petition Mel to put them up for one last sale, limited time only...

Wow, this is disheartening :(. I had swung by his site to check out some of his newest stuff and couldn't find any of the older items, I had thought he was going to put them in a new area, I guess not. Sigh, at least two years of drooling over those sets to find out they're gone. I hate financial problems :P.
I hope they show up again one day for a classic sale, and I hope I have the money when the time comes. I guess its what I get for not hovering in the forums there.

Still problematic for me, as even if he does I won't be able to get it, while I'm not on the verge of complete financial meltdown, my money status still isn't so great, havn't even had eneogh to pick up any of WW's newer stuff, but for those that weren't aware it might not be an issue. I wonder if he would do a special purchase where he could mail you a CD of the cancelled sets. I'm sure he didn't delete them, just removed them from the store due to lack of purchasing. All I can hope myself is that he will bring them back at a time when I have some money otherwise I'll just have to regret that they are beyond my access, shame really. Gonna have to redesign all my WW's/Melebbles crossover sets now, so much for the corvette I was designing, just have to do a complete external redesign now, but thats what designing is for :wink:. Though firebase maginot was a big part of the external design :(.

Edit: Even though those bugs look cool, I'm gonna avoid his site for awhile, don't want to be disappointed like this again, will wait till my money situation is good so I don't have to drool over sets I'll never get to own, biggest reason I gave up on any comic book collecting.
