I've been talking up WorldWorks models on Wizkids' HorrorClix forum, in about building terrain. At least one person seems to be interested. I hope the Clix community catches on to how cool these products are. On a selfish note, I want you to start selling lots of 1.5" scale sets, so you'll have the economic incentive to produce lots of new ones. I got into WorldWorks because I wanted to play Clix on something other than a boring, flat map. I'm sure others will follow me if they find out about this site. --jdf |

Hey thanks for the verbal support over at Wizkids jdfleming! I had high hopes last year that the WizKids community would take to WorldWorks but with the downsizing over there and the lack of interest here I kind of let the issue slide. I would definitly support the 1.5-inch market if I could make it pay but it just seems to be sliding deeper into obscurity. At this point anyway it doesnt have wide enough appeal for us to continue developing products in that format (as much as I would like to, I have to pay the bills). I would change all of that in a heartbeat however if Wizkids approached us to create terrain for them. Still waiting for that phone call or e-mail ![]() Earth to Wizkids; finding head project developers over there is like trying to seek audience with the Wizard of Oz himself. Believe me, I've tried ![]() D. |

None of the Clix players that I have met have even bothered downloading the free fold up terrain on the Wiz Kidz site. ![]() I have gotten more response from the D&D Miniiatures players, but I think that a grand total of two people have bothered to buy anything as a result. Oddly, one the greatest responses I got was from the DM screen I made using Castle Works Ultimate. D&D players seem to be the most interested in general. (I think that I have sold more than one copy of the Maiden over the years. The Mordheim/Lustria group did buy a bunch of stuff, though some of that was from a RPGNow gift certificate. Sadly, once I started stepping back to let someone else take over the group started dying from lack of interest. (Though several of the players have asked if I was going to tart it back up again. People want to play, they just don't want to be the person running it. The Auld Grump *EDIT* Heh, just noticed a fun typo... apparently all they want is for me to put some makeup on it and send it back out on the streets... ![]() |

Hey - I'm finally in a game I'm not running! ![]() ![]() One day someone in my group will step up and run a game (I just hope its this century). They've even been told they're 100% welcome to use whatever terrain and minis they want. Everyone keeps saying they're interested, but no one actually runs a game. Sound familiar? ![]() |
