Those are great, although they inspire me to paint rather than getting real work done
It's strange that he chose such a low working resolution for these , 28.3 dpi isn't going to make a great print. I guess he was hard up for ram or something What I find most interesting is the decision making process going on while he's painting. You can see how he sculpts the peice by keeping in mind the key light sources. One of my art teachers always told us that "you paint with light rather than form". Of course having a good understanding of anatomy really helps this process along even if it is an alien being. This clearly illustrates how creative jobs can really fry your brain as you sweat the little details. Unfortunatley it's the "little details" and that last 15% that make or break a work of art.
