Mines a custom job done up by a friend of mine. It is a Dragonkin from a fantasy wargame I have been writing for the past couple years. |

Mine's HST astride one of his favorite bikes... And to be honest, I'm still feeling quite ambivalent about his choice in exiting this mortal coil... |

Not to mention the fact that he, apparently, was in the middle of a conversation just before it happened...yeah, color me paranoid, but I don't think HST was the only person involved in his demise. |

I just don't know, to tell you the truth... Part of me questions the whole thing, but HST was dealing with the fact that his body was failing him as well (hip surgery, etc.)... And I'm sure his lifestyle choices were catching up to him. Why that didn't happen 20 years ago was a testament to his freakish physical resilience. If there wasn't collusion, then at least it was on his own terms, and I guess I'm comfortable with that. After all, I didn't know the man, and my vision of his persona as reflected in his writing and his lifestyle certainly doesn't define all the facets of who he truly was. Hopefully this century will produce somebody approaching his journalistic greatness, but times have changed, and the mold was certainly broken after him... ENOUGH! This is about avatars, so I'll shut the hell up on the whole thing. |

Lol, no worries SharkyCharger, this was the point of this topic, to discuss avatars and whatever came from it, feel free to continue, personally I'd always wondered who your avatar was, and I've learned quite a bit from the discussion, this is what this topic is intended for, feel free to continue. |

Ok, found it . I can't read japanese, but this was made of paper! (Turns out it was published in Japan as a cut-out craft book - since discontinued). p.s. Dang, looks like I'm going to have to pay attention to the off topic threads here too ![]() |

Heh, updated the list, couldn't believe the size of it, and that's only the half that I can actually remember ![]() ![]() ![]() Heh, now that's the one, thanx Zenguy. That picture defineatly gives you an idea of what your shooting for. Sucks that it was discontinued. Lol, if you delve into the Off Topic: Anime thread, be prepared for a lot of reading, there was a horrible amount of posting between three of us mainly, and a few others, all over giant robots, lol, 13 pages, and lots of useless fan info ![]() |
