This is going to be cool for four reasons: #1 - Matt is doing it, and he's hitting 1000 so far in my book #2 - It's Industrial, as in Industrial Strength. Can't go wrong. #3 - It's going to include "stuff". I ALWAYS like that in a kit. #4 - It's going to include "things" as well. So we're getting an Industrial Strength Matt design with the double-whammy Things AND Stuff! ![]() I hereby pledge NOT to come back to this thread and pester Matt with inane questions about how it's progressing and what bits it might include and on and on. Not that I don't want to. But I will refrain. And then one day, as if by magic, there will be sneak peek photos and it will be Christmas in Decem, er . . . well you get the point. Steve |

Hey Matt, any chance of getting any sort of info on this? at least to hold us off until the teasers? Please? I need a pick me up... Sacretis Edit: I forgot to include that I am primarily interested as I am writing the first adventure for my spycraft 2.0 group, and it would be cool if I could have some info to plan ahead with... |

I don't want to give too much away (although the more intuitive amongst you have propbably figured out the entire set list by now... ![]() Other than that I will only say that those of you who like your Mayhem buildings a little on the sprawling side should be very happy.... Extra consideration has also been paid to 1.5" players. We're getting closer to an amiable solution to the 7" dillema folks. If this set doesn't nail it the next one definately will! |

I can envision it now. Towering smokestacks with 3D transparency smoke, 18-wheelers, forklifts, conveyor belts, 15 types of dumpster... |

Matt, you sly dog. The WIP meter just jumped up 5%. You are closing in on Scott and his Mayhem Rails. Of course, the Aussie has a lead on you, but you're closing in on him ![]() For the record, I've given up trying to figure out what this kit includes. My Speculator-X1000 is broken, and I have no time to fix it. So warehouses, cranes, dockyards, crates, barrels, piles of pipes, conveyor belts, all of it, none of it, it's still going to be great!!! A Pallet mover !! No more than 1.5" tall (to fit through First Light cargo hatches too). I have this really easy, new way of constructing pallets out of old plastic sprues, but I NEED a pallet mover (fork lift). Forks should fit inside a 1" pallet, heh, ie., outside to outside of forks should be .75". |

As "the guy" that received a lots a help from Seattlegamer I can say that thanks to his help I'm back to building a full city of Mayhem buildings. After purchasing the streets of Mayhem and making lots of tiles I was anxiously awaiting for buildings to show up. Great was my disappointed that they didn't supported one of my favorite games (Heroclix) Thanks to the re-worked ground and roof tiles I've already made the armoury and garage. I liked them so much I've purchased bits of mayhem and bits of mayhem : downtown and a couple of kitbashes. I've know made a tall office building using the roof from the armoury. mad e acoupke of hexagonal and square columns and I'm in the process of making the park. The only remark I have here is that the park is advertised as 1,5" kitbash but only part of the tile has squares. Now it wasn't a problem that a black marker couldn't help me with but it is a slight problem. Also as Seattlegamer said printing some stuff at 107% is a real problem. The sidewalls for the roof, the phone boots and some other pages. Most of the time it means I need two pages and a lots of spilled ink for the same object which is a real shame. On the other hand. Printing walls at 107% means they are more then in scale with heroclix. I can even fit flyers inside without problems. PS : I would be great if the alley and dessert tiles in the kitbash section would also be available as 1,5" inch tiles. don't know if anybody would be up for that but I would gladly pay for those. |
