For a thread snare last week Denny came forth and stated that there was a FirstLight base in the works, my guess is that this is it. Lord Abaddon of Wormwood |

I'm guessing it's an expansion to Firstlight that makes it into a space station. |

Well ... Paul did Firstlight and Retrofit and Mars Station (not to mention Shadowcore), so he OWNS this whole product line. It really could be add-ons to either line. I extrapolated Luna to mean moonbase, and thus my inclination is to assume this might be an add-on or expansion to Mars Station done with different ground tiles and building textures. Also, because Mars Station is tagged with "Rezolution" it may be that they cannot expand that line of textures (I hope that's not the case). My preference would be for more ground textures & buildings, but if it turns out to be a space station it would still be on my shopping list ![]() Steve |

Mmm. Moon Base. Hopefully we can use it to fake our own Moon landings. Mr Blackhammer |

Hmm, luna base... would love to see some domes and general sci-fi with a cleaner look... or at least, not red dust. Looking forward to more info on this as and when it becomes available. Arabin |

I'm eagerly watching this space myself! I have no problem with the red dust, and wouldn't mind an expansion that would work with that set. It's probably more practical to add expansions to a single kit, you have a built-in base of people who would probably want it, and if the initial kit wasn't full-blown enough to atract some folks, the expansion might push the utility of the combined kits into a sale. On the other hand, a second set without the dust (possibly with a cleaner look) could be used for the "main base" while the Mars Station kit could be the mining camps or forward outposts and the like. With a name like "Luna" I'm hoping this is a ground station kit, and not an orbital platform kit (I think between First Light and the expansion an orbital station is already possible). But I could be wrong. |

Hey Paul! NASA is stealing your idea, and they want to build their OWN moon base. You oughtta get some sort of royalties out of this. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/6208456.stm |

Paul should license his design to Nasa and make big bucks. |

I saw this on the list on the homespace. Now I'm intrigued. |
