I'd prefer a split release. It takes a little time for me to get things built in the first place so I'd like to have something to work on at a regular pace. Mega Sets are cool but a bit overwhelming for someone who can't take a weekend off anymore to just build; I have 2 young children. My gaming comes first, then the props. |

While my preference is definitely for the larger single release I can live with a pair of split sets. Good to see that the set is being worked on, regardless of which option you decide to run with. ![]() The Auld Grump |

i'm guessing split release is how mayhem would be described, and i like the way that's being done, so i went with 2 ![]() |

I voted for either way, because I trust you know better than I do. If it's easier for you to work on a megaset, then go megaset. If it's easier to work on smaller bundles, go that route. Personally, I prefer the mega sets for initial pushes into new territory because it allows me to get a sense of what is possible. Take the Streets of Mayhem for example. No buildings, but lots of street tiles and track tiles and props. Seeing the elevated ramps and train tracks added a totally new possibility to my planning. If that set had been two smaller sets, and the first was just streets and some props, I probably would have scoped out a section of town, had the streets done, and been working on getting buildings into the vacant lots. THEN along would come the tracks mini set, and I'd either pass (my layout is already set for now) or I'd have to redesign my town. So mega is easier to plan with, mini is easier to construct (and we get a "fix" more often). I leave it to you to decide which is easier for YOU to do. If a Mega set takes 1000 hours but two mini sets take 600 hours each (because of some duplication of effort or whatever) then I'd say go Mega and make us wait. In the long run we get more out of it. |

I'm for whatever is easier for the developer. Release times are not a giant thing for me. I can wait (unlike some people *cough*). |
