Say, Denny....is there going to be substantial new content, or is it more along the lines of conversion to 'clip-it'? Just trying to decide whether I should get the update or spend the $$ on a different Worldworks product... |

DungeonWorks is starting to show its age and there are things that I desperatley want to revise to keep it current. The DungeonWorks expansion will include the revised "clip-it" style corridor sections as its main updated feature. There will also be some cosmetic changes to the instructions in the old set. That said there are also a few important expansion items you might want: - Re-designed "Clip-It" corridor sections - Dungeon Stairs "up" - Dungeon Alter - Completely new floor tiles with greater detail and varied floor patterns for different rooms. - Re-designed doors with new artwork - Redesigned floating walls - New pillar design - New traps - A few more surprise items (I’m still in the process of adding more items. Any suggestions welcome!) I really want to make a good product even better! There will also be a "Clix" based 1.5-inch expansion set to convert the existing DungeonWorks set to that standard. I've been getting allot of requests for it so its time to meet that demand. This will be sold separately as a DungeonWorks "Clix" mod. (Don’t worry though; I'll NEVER abandon the classic 1-inch crowd) I'm trying to keep the prices low enough so that you don’t go in debt by upgrading. I also have to keep the price at around the $7.00 mark to counter balance the people who may just buy the expansion and not the full DungeonWorks set (Some people only want walls after all and I don’t want to damage the original DungeonWorks sale point). This update will be included in the full DungeonWorks release as well for the same price of $15.00 for those who don’t yet own it. Soooooooo...In the end this is an expansion for those fans who want it and an upgrade to the original DungeonWorks for those who don’t yet have it. If you’re in the poor-house and you’re satisfied with DungeonWorks "as is" save your money for the next set ;) |

My wife and I can't wait for the Clix-compatible version of Dungeonworks. We were going to buy the 3D tiles that Wizkids is coming out with later this month, but after seeing the beauty of the Dungeonworks stuff.. well, there's just no comparison. Our games of MK: Dungeons will look much nicer on the Dungeonworks pieces. Any idea of when the "Dungeonclix" set will be available? Keep up the amazing work, Denny! lost_thought |

Doh! I just asked basically this same question in another forum. Note to self: read first, post second. D |

Important thought here... Many people who paid for DW can use their receipt info to re-download the product. If you update the core DW, can these people use the receipt info, and re-download the new combined DW? Or is the revamped DW be listed as a completely different product. Just food for thought...not sure how you want to do this... -Nemesis (PS: Waiting for the new DS...will work nicely for the new campaign... ;D ) |

So, since I do not yet have DungeonWorks, I should wait and buy the revised set that is coming out soon? (Hi, I'm new here) |

Nemesis, Rust and the rest of the gang, The official updated version "DungeonWorks 2.0" will hopefully happen in the next few weeks. For those who do not yet own DungeonWorks you might want to wait for the new version. For those who have already purchased the "old" version you can purchase the expansion which also comes at a discounted price with one or two models not available in DW 2.0 to make it worth your while. As mentioned there will also be a "DungeonClicks" version available for all the dial based fans out there. Thats the theory anyway ![]() |

Wanted to make sure you didn't miss the point of my post...if the regular DW is updated to 2.0, but just listed as DW. Someone who has an online reciept would be able to 're'-download it...and get the new version for free. I've no issue buying the add-on, you've put a lot of work into it...this was more a warning to make sure you have it listed as a new product, like 'Dungeonworks 2.0', that's all, so others won't just 're'-download DW and get all the new goodies for free! We've all got to pay the bills, right? ![]() Keep up the good work... -Nemesis |
