Just an FYI, had a rough time ironing out DW and my wife's BJC-250 Lite...so I figure I would save others the same grief...this is what I learned... 1) The infamous Canon margin issue: This is fixed by making sure you have the latest print driver, and Adobe Acrobat Reader 6! Acrobat 5 didn't work right, but as soon as I upgraded to 6, the margin issue was fixed without any of the fuss involved in the old way of doing it posted on this board. 2) Color Management/Quality: First, don't print to a network printer...that was the cause of quality loss for me. However, even from a direct connection, the colors were all wrong. The library piece, for example, was oversaturated with red. I finally found out why... Do NOT use ICM, the automatic color management checkbox. Moreso, you cannot use the 'Auto' default setting. Under 'Color Management', set from 'Auto' to 'Manual'. For 'Print Type' set to 'Graphic'. This is the ONLY way I got proper colors on my DW printouts. So...bottom line is, everything is working great now, but I wasted a lot of ink and paper...so I figured I'd share so others may not go through the same trouble I did... Now, time to make a dungeon... ![]() -Nemesis |
