Maybe I'm not looking in the right place, but did you guys totally dump the page that had the banner images for linking WorldWorks Games on other websites? Reason I ask is because I am going to link WWG in my signatures on several forums and on my WordPress blog that gets 200 hits a day and has at least 30 registered readers. I also had someone ask me for a banner to use in their signature. I had to swipe Denny's signature banner because I can't locate the old banners (and I thought maybe I ought to use an updated one to match the website's new appearance). Just a suggestion, but maybe you can put up a spot for banners or have a forum thread for them or something. |

The old page is still archived here: http://worldworksgames.com/store/index. ... ages_id=12 It's funny you mention banners as we are in the process of creating a series of new banners for ads on various gaming sites. I'll post those here as well when they are complete. P.S. Thanks for the sig promotion! |

Excellent... is one of those going to be TMP? They give a lot of front page coverage to new advertisers and I don't know about others, but I often actually follow those banners that look interesting. On most sites I try to ignore them. If you do new banners, please either have static images themed to sets, or fairly slow changing animations to highlight a variety. If an ad is distracting enough, I scroll the page or even shrink the window so I can look at the content I wanted to look at, and not see the banner. Some of the "clevel" banners like over at Gamespy.com actually know if you shrink the window and they adjust to make sure they are always visible... incredibly annoying. Looking at the banners you currently have on the link you posted, the animation is great, but it should pause on the final picture for another few seconds. It is easy to miss the actual company name IMO. Anyway, just my 2cents. I look forward to seeing the new banners. Arabin |

Yup, those old banners are...well...crap. I'm designing new ones with less annoying animation and less ambiguous ad text. |

Thanks Denny! I'll use yours until you get some promotional, professional looking banners/adverts posted for us to use. PS. No problem about the linkage. I always promote and/or give encouraging reviews for superior product lines, and WWG has been one of the best companies as far as product, support and cost goes that I have ever worked with. I'm actually excited to talk about WWG when I blog/chat/play games. Oh, and my WP blog, in case you want to check it out, is . Comments are scanned thoroughly before they are allowed, and I screen everything. Everyone who reads my blog knows that my political views are not necessarily the political views of anyone who I link to my blog. |
