I'm looking at the Himmelveil Harbourmaster set, and wondering if the building is set in its dimensions? In other words, is it a modular building that can be built bigger, with more floors, more rooms, larger surface area etc without having to kitbash it??? I'm interested in making a larger building where the game is based purely inside, but will need to be bigger for that to happen. I suppose the question can also be aimed at the forthcoming Shellendrak set as well. |

If I remember from having built the Harbourmaster, I think you can increase its footprint fairly easily without doing too much of a kit bash. It may get a bit tricky with the exterior doors though, but I think it should be fairly easy to overcome. Paull has added a number of 'blank' walls so you could conceivably increase its foot print. Interesting idea. From what I understand of Shellendrak, it is designed with a modular footprint from the get-go. -Pel |
