Just noticed this appeared on the W.I.P. meter overnight. It's modern, and by the WWG Crew. Let the guessing commence! My guess would be an office expansion for Mayhem including desks, cubicals, water cooler, etc. Whatever it is, it is 65% done ![]() Arabin |

Now that you mention it Slymoon, I agree that's it's getting harder to come up with modular ideas for modern. A few times in the past the idea of specialized mini releases has come up, which would well suit a coffee shop, bank, police station, office, etc. release. I like the coffee shop idea, but I'm not so keen on the skatepark... which means Urban Grind probably IS the skatepark ![]() Any other ideas? Arabin |

How about all three? It could be a modular office set, with a coffee shop and hairdressers/barbers on the ground floor, and a skate park out back next to the car park... ![]() I agree with CCotD on all points regarding the fantasy stuff. It'll return, and I hope I'll have a suitable game when it does, but for now, modern and sci-fi is probably the largest market. Arabin |

You'd need a donut shop to get fat, which isn't a bad idea btw. The coffee shop just keeps you awake through the monotony of the day job, and you need to get your haircut after a clump gets ripped off one side while on the u-pipe ![]() I'm liking the sound of this set... shame it's probably all completely wrong ![]() Arabin |

'Urban Grind' is indeed the charity project for Chase's cancer. All proceeds from this model set will be going into the trust fund set up for Chase's family via the Bank of Montreal. Urban Grind is a happening, slightly dangerous skate park set in the streets of Mayhem. It comes with all of the graffiti filled trappings you would expect from a modern day park and a few you wouldn't ![]() A little teaser: |

Nice artwork! Even though I have no use for a skate park, I will buy this set for the good cause when it is released and I'm sure I'll be able to use the textures for something. Congrats to the team that pulled together to build this release. It's impressive to see such collaboration in a fairly short space of time. Thanks for the teaser ![]() Arabin |

Count me in for a set............ great addition to Mayhem and a very worthy cause. Looks like I'll need to make another Copplestone Castings order as well (once my first order arrives, that is............ still waiting, still waiting) |

Heh, well the great thing about The Big Meg is that pretty much anything goes. I can find room for a skate park, just hadn't really thought about wanting one. I'll buy the set regardless, but I'll wait to see what the set looks like before deciding how to incorporate it. Zombies would be most amusing sliding back and forth on a half-pipe. I haven't yet tried playing ATZ though I did pick it up while it was on special. Looks pretty complicated at first glance. Poor Bongo needs a vacation ![]() Arabin |

I'll be picking this up as soon as it's out. Going to be a nice addition to my city. On another note, can we have kiddies playground to? Swings and a slide and a roundabout and a seesaw. Actually, wonder if i can make a seesaw out of seigeworks... Mr Blackhammer |

I'm slightly chuffed that you like the idea of the skatepark. Sweet art. Lord Abaddon of Wormwood |

Heh, "Drokk it" would be cool... or "Drokk the J's" I really need to learn how to do graffiti in photoshop so I can add many Mega-City sayings ![]() Arabin |

I never played the GW version, but I have everything published, just not the minis. If you haven't already, you should look at the Mongoose d20 Dredd publications... d20 isn't well suited to Dredd but the source books contain some really good info. Also, Gangs of Mega-City One is an amazing skirmish game... ![]() If you do create any graffiti, be sure to let us see. One of the things I would love to be able to do, for personal use, is to export the graphics from Dredd vs. Death and use some of the posters and grafitti on my terrain. I have no idea how to do this though... any one know? Arabin |

Personally I cannot wait for this set. I have been hoping for some kind of Park area for my Mayhem project. Currently I used the open/grassy tiles with a wall and gate around it from Chunky Dungeons. Gives it that old almost foreboding park look. The Judge Dredd reference was perfect, now I have to go look for my miniatures and my indyclix Judges. Bring on the Boingers and Fatties!!! Ray |
