Hey all, I like the look of these sets and am itching to start placing some orders. The scifi sets look great, but what I came here for originally was classic dungeon crawl based on a review I read. I see the classic castle and dungeon set, and I see that the castle set has been updated into the castleworks ultimate pack. Has the dungeon set had a similar update? If not, is one planned? I need to know what would be the best starter set for some good old dungeon crawling, heroquest style.

Hello Kamen and welcome aboard. It's a real friendly place and the combination of cardstock construction, awestruck admiration from your gamers and endless helpful support from these forums makes it a really rewarding hobby.

Can't really add too much to Denny's post above in terms of advice. The sets are so cheap though, it's no real problem to just buy one on spec and experiment. Many of the sets complement each other well and parts of each can be used to spice up another set. They also come with loads of useful props.

Dang, all those sets look great. A question of scale though, you say parts of the sets are compatible with one another, yet the chunky set has 1" and 1.5" scale. The others make no mention of scale on their product pages, so sake of keeping the cardstock chaos compatible, which should I go with for use with gothic realms?

Next question, I was playing around with the map designer for firstlight, and it seems there are no corridors that are 2 spaces wide? Call me old fashioned but I likes my starships symmetrical. To do otherwise annoys the chukkas, and the last thing you want is an annoyed chukka bouncing around the ship. (yes I'm waiting for someone to get the reference)

A tip I learned early on .... in the top right corner of the set page you'll see an info box that has a picture of the happy designer in it .... that info box also tells you the scale of the set.

In the case of the Gothic dungeons it is 1"
