Hey guys when will we see any progress or pictures or anything more on wormhole?

Denny is currently polishing off Uncharted Space, which is EXTREMELY close to release. My (uninformed) guess would be that they're gonna finish the promo materials for US and MPD and release them sometime in the next two weeks (realistically). To really be realistic, the free WH bits to accompany US will be out within 3 weeks to a month of US's release (from my understanding of it's current level of completion). Probably around the same time period I expect WH to hit, but it may drag out a tiny bit more than that.

BTW, being little more than a Beta Tester, take everything I say with a grain of salt. Hell, it may be released tomorrow for all I know. This is just my educated guesswork.

P.S. Also, know that I'm usually extremely impatient with WWG releases and Denny's sometimes hopelessly optimistic projections. These estimates were based on the other end of the scale, aka worst case scenario. Don't expect it, but it's very possible that this stuff could be pushed out quite a bit sooner.

Is is understandable though, for people to get frustrated this close to launch. Take, for example, Mayhem PD. It was handed off by CapnG a couple of weeks back, at 77% completion. So that last 23% is building the product page, creating promo materials, and adding an entry to the database.

If that's the case, Uncharted Space has sat at 95% and Wormhole at 89% for a while now, so those must just be waited for Denny to his the "Release Product" button

As I said before, I am not really interested in Wormhole right now... the wait has been too long. When it is actually released, I'll look at it again... but right now I'm wanted Mayhem PD.

Hey, I think you'll get more and more interested as info is released Arabin. It really is an AMAZING game... and I'm not just saying that. I would be extremely interested in it even if it WASN'T a WWG product. You also have a bit of a homegrown advantage over most of us:
you've got a WWG buddy to play with.

I've got kind of a niggling feeling that the crew is slipping something over our heads... this is based on absolutely nothing, but I wouldn't be too surprised if something new jumped to almost completed on the WIP meter...

Oh, and Denny? I know this is a lot to ask, but I kind of think it's necessary. Is there any chance you could put away a bit of time once you get the cash flowing again to polish off and release some of the stuff sitting in the wings? There are a lot of people who have been waiting for, say, Crystal Caves for quite a while, and everyone would appreciate the gesture if you could push it out, especially for Bob's poor sake. Same could be said for Urban Grind.

Wormhole? Oh yeah, that space game with the mat! That was tops on my interest list a couple weeks ago, but that PD and talk of the marina made me forget, temporarly. Whatever happened to it?

I think it was arrested by the Mayhem PD for stealing a boat from the Mayhem Marina, and joyriding it across the docks and into the Urban Grind skate park.

In other news, Mayhem PD reported a series of toilet thefts from around the city. They are looking for witnesses as right now, they have nothing to go on...

To be honest I'm not expecting anyone to be cheery about the Wormhole wait. This product would have been out months ago had it not been for that ugly production hiccup. That alone is enough to cause frustration on ALL sides and I completely understand it. I have a feeling that the groundswell of support won't really happen until people see what we've been working on.

It will be a bit of a feast or famine situation with promo pictures as there are a few sensitive elements which are tricky to show too far from launch. You'll likely get a flood of pictures as we ramp up to the release. I do have one or two things I can show but I have to focus my energies on getting Uncharted Space out the door first.

All I can say right now is that we are doing everything we can to get it done and in your hands. I've cleared the schedule of all nonessential items so that we can tighten our focus even further.

I'll do everything I can to keep you guys in the loop.

Thanks for the update Denny. What about Mayhem PD and Urban Grind? If Mayhem PD is so close to launch, but there are logistics to work out with Uncharted Space, could you bump it up the list and get some cash coming in for you guys?
