If I understand the footprint aspect, I found it a bit more daunting. I haven't actually built anything from Shellendrak yet, so it's hard to say for sure. Not sure how I feel about all future releases being like that. I'm more likely to build Mayhem PD first, so I'll see how I get on with it once that is released. Arabin |

Arabin - I'm on the same boat. I'm not sure I like the footprint method yet. I think I have to really dig into to be sure, though. My only concern with it is rigidity. Say what you will but the walls will warp being only 1-ply. I know there are techniques to make them sturdier but I don't have the time for them. |

That's not 100% correct, Count. You could build the walls as complete, two sided entities and just leave gaps on the ends so you can glue the tabs together to complete them later. Combined with taking your time and using low-water glues, you could minimize warping down to almost none. |

can be configured to print a 1 inch grid. The printed output has a 7 x 10 inch grid centered on a 8.5 x 11 inch page with 1/2 inch margins at the top and bottom of the page and 3/4 inch margins on the left and right of the page. Looks like it could be adapted for use in this application. ![]() |

Since I was %100 card over foam and wood, when I did my first Shellendracs, actually First Light and Mars seemed kinda strange. With a liitle creativity, you can always mate two onsided walls first. Not hard if you take that into account when planning the base. |

I'm sorry, Matt. I have been guilty of the one T and most definately getting 'Shellendrak Manor' wrong. I understand, we all draw the line somewhere. Or in my case many somewheres, so you have my sincere apologies. |

Try pronouncing, much less spelling my wife's maiden name, Senczyszyn. When I first met her, it was a blind date and all I had was her name printed on a card. ![]() |
