It would be good if they could do that CCotD, but since it's a PDPBB forum, and I suspect it's not heavilly modified from the base code, it'd probably be a real challenge to add that element in.
The scrolling issue, which I do notice from your posts, is exactly why I recommended originally with only going 5 wide. I also have widescreen 1680x1050 but usually keep my browser windows sized at 1024x768, and design website based on that standard. Of course, if you get into websites that might be printed, you have to take into consideration the maximum print width... so you end up losing a lot of realestate.
Auto resizing can work if it's designed like that from the ground up, but you can't test every scenario in those cases, and can't truly predict how everything will appear.
