After I finished doing textured models of the villageworks building I began working on the props. I've already done some props but they need to be redone at 72 dpi.

I've spent the last couple hours working on the well.


This is perhaps the most complicated structure I've done. Although nothing that uses triangle sides has been simple. Now overall I think I may call it done but there are 2 areas that could be fixed.

The first is the top edge of the stone. I've yet to think of a good way to apply the actual textures to this area.

The other is the hanging rope portion. I spent a long time trying to add it but it never came out verticle, it always leaned forward or back. A very noticable thing when I reotated the view. I finally just decided to leave it off.

Ironically despite the large number of surfaces, the well componet is only 32kb. Thats smaller than the hut, 50 kb.

I've finished a couple more props.





I want the props for myself anyway. If Denny decides not to include them thats not a problem.



I know about the up arrow thing. It doesn't always work though. Do you have to hit it before picking an initial point?


Those method for texturing the ledge occured to me. But they are both rather time consumming, and the texture is basically plain light grey with darker grey edges. It just doesn't seem worth that much effert.
