![]() I'm fine with the 1.5" of CWU. I would never have bought it otherwise. But I do believe that it could have EASILY have been a dual core release! The biggest problem with table top gaming is there are TOO MANY scales. I'd HATE to see Denny get rid of 1.5" I think the 6" standard is the best solution. As for complaining it will happen. Just like in the 70's when they forced everyone to switch to unleaded gasoline. Or now with the smoking bans in public places. Soon it will be switching to Bio-Diesel (I hope). The point is I think it is for the good of everyone. Now if only they would place Layered pdf's so everyone couls choose the grid they wanted. 1 6" ground tile. You could select 1", 1.5" 1" hex, 2" hex Yeah everyone is happy. It would not take much more space only time on the part of WWG staff. And that is only for compiling the layers. Denny could make grid standards for everyone to use, they would only have to make gridless. PLEASE LAYERED PDF'S |

I've started going to a 4 inch size for my modular dungeon hallways. The walls sit on the outside inch, and players aren't supposed to use those half squares. They are there to allow for the odd figure with the extra big sword, not for movement. With that set up, I get a 20 foot long by 10 foot wide corridor. I'm still debating about what to do as far as rooms are concerned. I want the pieces to allow for maximum flexibility and most of the other systems I've seen generally go with a roughly 2 inch by 2 inch or 4 inch by 4 inch piece. Might be a little wider than 2 inches to account for the walls, but generally that's the size.
