Big congrats go out to Matt Lyon and his latest and greatest "HellWorks". This really is another inspired work from Matt and it has a ton of utility in almost every gaming genre. Another job well done! Show Matt and WWG in general some love and support by picking up this amazing landscape here: http://www.worldworksgames.com/store/in ... cts_id=211 |

Oh good. I can talk about how much fun this set is to build. I've been dying to for about a week now. ![]() |

I started by building one thing, then a few, then a few more. Now I'm busily trying to figure out how I can use this with White Plume Mountain (the next module I'm going to run for C&C). I'm thinking that instead of a sphinx instead, they'll meet something outside (maybe some golems) that are guarding the entrance to the volcano. This would serve very nicely for that. One note - the cliffs on this beg for compression scoring rather than cut scoring. I cut scored the cliffs from Mars Station, and compression scored these ... and they look really, really good. Edit: Removed quick pic so as not to steal Matt's thunder - check my gallery (link in sig) for a quick shot of some built models. |

I'm sure Matt will chime in once he recovers from the hang-over brought on by the launch celebration party, but... In the preview thread it was mentioned that there are two types of cliffs, some had the lava at the bottom (and some on top) but others did not and were just dark rock. I think the set contains both. I can't pick it up just yet but perhaps someone can chime in who has it? Arabin |

Technically the set contains three types of cliffs: High detail (flames, bodies, faces) medium detail (faces and/or flames) and low detail (just plain ol cliffs). Since the tops are really the bottoms (ie groundtiles) you can make them as big as you like, in a style that you like with a top that you like! How's that for versatility? ![]() |

One of a series of ruins I have done for games that have a tad more of an impact upon the landscape. Hellworks just adds to the flavor. Lord Abaddon of Wormwood |

Got it. It looks great. Any reason why it's not being branded as another DungeonLinx 2.5D set ? Frank |

Hmmm, combined with Gothic Realms this might be good for someone running a Diablo RPG. Who Wants Some? (Agramon the Pit Fiend, Reaper Miniatures.) The Auld Grump |
