Post subject: | OFTOPIC Question about Adobe Distiller |
Hello Sorry for the Oftopic Question, but i know there are computer Gurus reading this boards. ::) I have a problem at my work. I have a program that print a list (as Postscript-File). A costumer wish to get this list as PDF-File. I have Adobe Distiler (and wordtoPDF) but have no expercience with this programs. My Problem is that I get only color or grayscale PS-Files. Not true Black&Withe. This mean that the yellow numbers on the list are in a very light gray that isnt readable. Can someone give me a hint how to change this. many thanks, and im very sorry to hijack the board for such mundane Questions :-[ |

I'm not a print expert by any stretch, but if I understand your question correctly, I think this should work... When you print to the Post Script file, see if there is a Color/B&W option in the printer dialog box (most printer drivers that support color have the option, usually somewhere on the Paper/Quality tab). If so, change it to B&W before you create the PS file. This should (I think) print the file out as a B&W file, and you shouldn't have to worry about flipping the color when you convert the PS file to PDF. |
