The cliffs and palm trees are great! I have to admit, though, it won't feel complete 'til "the Maiden" sails.

Paul, After reviewing the Searworks teaser very carefully I can only give you one advice about the project. Quit your day job and work with Denny at Worldworks. Beautiful stuff, Worldworkers! This looks like it will be the punchiest set you've released so far, color-wise! Very dynamic looking. I think my rope bridge from Caveworks will fit in there nicely!! |

Yehah! I love pirate adventures. I've played adventures using the megablocks Krystal Wars pirate / dragon sets, but this looks like so much fun. Who doesn't love pirates? The colors really stand out. It almost looks like a Croc 2 level. It was worth the wait.  Best regards, Steve |

Didn't someone ask to be notified when SeaWorks was "10 to done"?... [Ding-Ding-Ding-Ding-Ding...] "Honey, the bell is ringing -- time to pull your stuff out of the oven!..." Too cool! I love the small boats, the rope bridge, the cliffs, the water base boards (I normally don't bother with such, but these... These MUST be used...). The Wooden Fort is superb, complete with look-out towers! Denny, you could have saved me so much money, time, and hassle, if you'd only published this a couple of years ago: I bought a plastic, wood palisade fort toy, to convert into a wooden palisade for a Hobgoblin army, on the outskirts of Dwarven territories (an invasion force's advanced post -- for tabletop gaming). I could have used this instead... :'( I really like the wooden winch, and the cargo pieces. This set is superb! I need to order more ink refill kits! I am SOOOO thankful I'm not paying full price for OEM cartridges -- although I may need to pick up a few OEM's, as I'll be burning them up quite fast when this set is published. Come to think of it, I need more card-stock too!!! Buy stock in paper mills, Denny: cash in on your product in more ways than one!  How soon can we lay our hot little, digital hands on this treasure, Matey? Aye! Be quick about it, ye Sea Dogs! Arrr, Matey! Be quick now lads! I've a knife drawn, and ready for the cuttin'. If it be for card-stock, then fine, else it twill be for flesh! Aye, Mateys! Aye! Avast, Swabs! Look alive! Look alive! >:( Just kidding... ;D |

TREES! I SEE TREES! I knew they could be done in a paper format that wouldn't look cheesy!!!!! Extremely well done! Oh yeah the rest of the set looks like it will be an extremely worthy addition to my WWG collection! Just one question, Clip-it walls or chunky dungeon format? |

Nice! Not at all what I was picturing, but very nice! (I was picturing more seafaring town, less natural terrain.) And I see a hint of Central America there as well. (Hmmm, Aztec Works? Olmec Works...?) The derrick is very nice, but I can't see how it is powered. Until the invention of the steam engine derrics were powered by muscle, generally in the form of either a really large hamster wheel or a turmstile powered by animals or slaves. I can make and build these for myself, but you might want to think about them. Picture orc slave masters cracking their whips over the backs of sweating slaves as they ltrudge endlessly in the huge wooden wheels... as one slave collapses he is killed and hauled off to a spit where the other slaves can see the price of failing in their labors... Hmmm, Orcish or hobgoblin pirates... The pallisade wall and tower are nice as well. Likely to be used in a lot of non-seafaring games as well. And bridges are always good. (What can I say, I like choke points...) Ledges... nice... Native huts, good... Stone fortifications... Might go well with Castle Works or Arena Works. And are those cannon I see looking down from the cliffs? I certainly hope so! (I like gunpowder... I have a cultural prediliction toward things what go BOOM!) I already have a lot of miniature cannons, but a pirate set just wouldn't be complete without them. Plus a plastic or card cannon would stress the terrain much less.How well does it match up with Village Works? And cave Works for that matter? Though I don't notice any caves on the model I am virtually certain that they are present. For use with Village Works the wharfs are excellent! These, the cargo, and the derrick are what sell the set to me. The ship wreck is cool, the blue dinghy slightly less so, the scale looks off, too large ifor the job it is filling, or too small. (In other words, either too wide or too short.) The rowboat looks very good, wide enough to take the figures, long enough for the cargo. Very nice set! Quite good at capturing the feel of the Pirates of the Caribean ride/movie. (Dead men tell no tales... I rather liked that ride at Disneyland.) Likely things to be used to customize my own set - GW plastic skeletons to add that homey touch, in particular dangling from the stome arch, possible bearing a sign that warns away pirates... A model of a wrecked ship from an aquarium supply store. Heck, a lot of thing from the aquarium supply! (Ship's wheels, anchors, treasure chests...)With each release more uses for all the sets become apparent. I am now contemplating using the waters from the Gothic Realms set in conjuction with the wharfs and ledges to creat the mouth of a canal. Good stuff indeed! The Auld Grump |

Wow! Very nice! :o I'm very much looking forward to getting my download for this one! Geez, I think I'll be spending all my spare time putting together props and terrain for my 50 Fathoms games once I get the download for this one!

SEAWORKS looks promising indeed! BUT I really, really hope that the terrain tiles will be included with AND without grids... They look quite vibrant and I would hate to see grids with seatiles
