Looking at the Worldworks in Print pictures, I noticed that the thick walls in Chunky Dungeons aren't 1.5" wide, but appear to be about 1" wide. Is that true? Has anyone tried using the Chunky Dungeons walls with a 1" gridded masterboard, like Gothic Dungeons? Is much conversion work required? I'm extremely interested in the thick walls offerred in Chunky Dungeons, but I don't play Mage Knight Dungeons and I hesitate to buy a set that won't be compatible with my other paper fold-up terrain. Thanks in advance. |

Hi Sarge, I don't have the files in front of me, but I believe you are correct: the width of the CD walls is 1 inch. The 1.5" long wall wouldn't work right with a 1" gridded board, but the 3" should do fine. However, the walls are designed to mount onto foamcore tiles for use with the ProMasterboard so you'd have to work out a different arrangement if you wanted "floating" thick walls for a DW:GR-style Masterboard. The CD walls essentially have no bottom (not a regular cube-fold) but instead have little "wings" on either side that mount to the ProMasterboard tiles. I'll double-check when I get home (or someone else can confirm) but I'm pretty sure that's the case. Hope that helps! D |
