Nice. Thanks LD2062. That will probably be useful. I'm worried the cardboard will dull the blades faster then a cutting mat. |

Let me know how they work for you. If they're ok I may start using them instead of the craft cutting mats next time I need a replacement. Like I said though, if you press hard enough to pierce the mat maybe put it over cardboard or something. Do you use x-acto or snap off blades? I use the snap offs and I use new blades very often, maybe every hour or two. So I get the snap offs from the dollor store. 12 blades in a replacement pack, 8 notches per blade, thats 96 tips for $1. Almost exactly $.01 each. |

LD2062 If I find them I'll tell you. Hopefully somewhere besides BB&B and the yuppie mall has them. (Yeah, there is a yuppie mall. Fortunately has more non-yuppies around then when I was a kid.) I'm using x-acto blades. Basically because that's what Ben Franklin had when I walked in. It's cutting pretty nice. Pelthar Excellent. Thanks. Although that Mars Station is frustrating at the moment. I'm only one my third model ever, not counting that castle model I made when I was a kid. Those little windows are something else. I decided to do a Mahyem building after doing two of those walls. I've been figuring things out at a decent pace, but blast, I'd rather do a couple of things that feel easy and look good when I'm done. Also, I now have a desire for a clear ruler. I've gotten my cutting to a point I'm happy with, except those windows, and I'm not sure I should expect anything approaching greatness with those. Still seeing the model under the ruler would rock. |

Hey! I'm combining Caveworks and Platform Command for an underground base (That houses the giant frickin laser pointed at the city.) Looks Definitely Dr. Evilish:) |
