Excellent post. I decided to do a little shuffling to make it easier for new people to see what's what. |

Perhaps I should know better, and perhaps this has been discussed somewhere at some time, but why would any of these sets be retired? I saw on the list that the Watchtower has been retired. Why? It is an awesome piece. Someone is going to discover World Works Games, and realize just how great the stuff is. They will never know the joy I have when I bring out my Watchtower. Now I was lucky enough a while back to gather a few pieces that were brought out of retirement for a short time, but I was not lucky enough to gather up all the retired sets I wanted. So, why would you cut the list of potential sales on purpose? I mean the cost or trouble of storing the files and the programing for sales once done must be nil. Hope I am not bringing up a touchy subject. |

Yeah, I did find the thread with Denny's explanation. And I do agree, the abilities of World Works has improved quite a bit. The differences are easily noticeable. But having said this, I must also say that if one was to cut the price and sell them as introductory products with an explanation as to their origin and outdated quality, they would still serve as great table top pieces. I love my Watchtower. I really don't care if it is old, it is still very nice and quite functional. It will always be on my shelf. In fact, I have been wanting to print up another floor to make it a bit taller. |

Not every product is retired for the same reason. In the specific case of the Watch Tower, that was not a WWG product, we were simply hosting it at our store. |

Interesting list. I'm so glad that I picked up my copies of caveworks and Skull cove before they were retired. As far as retiring products due to upgrades and improvements, I can see where my chunky dungeons can be replaced and improved on by Castle ultimate and how any of the TLX ugrades would apply but I still think Skull Cove is avery viable product unless here is a tlx versionin the works. Anyone know why skull cove was retired? |

Is this list still being updated? I think it's a valuable resource. |

This may have been answered already though I didn't notice anyone ask it; For those of us who had purchased some of these retired sets back when they were still new is there any way us to get another copy if needed or are these sets gone for good? Richard |

Some of those "Retired" sets (and a few others also no longer available here on the WWG site such as some pre-TLX originals) are still listed over on the Paizo.com site. Some may still be at the older higher price-point mark, but they can be still had. (Sorry, no "Watchtower".) You'll just have to look carefully under the Worldworks Games product listings. |
