Still standing ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The small scale modeling is more difficult. Still possible but slow, very! I'm thinking of enlarging everything ... a new RPG scale just so I can keep building longer ... 1:48 at least. The three ships for Mayhem are still just sitting there unfinished. I've got a ton of things I want to do ... true for everybody, isn't it? ![]() I recently saw the Firefly series and the Serenity movie, AWESOME! Like Wierd West meets Sci-fi. Have you seen that? Paul's and Mat's sci-fi sets can be bashed into a Firefly set, or just about anything you need for such layouts. |

Cool Delta. Although, I am STILL waiting to see pics of your "unfinished" Maiden builds ![]() I have created a kids colonial game: "The Sword and the Spongebob: Dork's Drift" that will debut at RECON '08, am building a large freighter from FirstLight and Retro for our now hugely popular Star Wars RPG gaming night, and built the mother of all "Monster Island" tables (here it is. Note: someone told me to print Shelendrac and Mayhem stuff at 27%, and I have added neat 6mm builds since these pics) http://s213.photobucket.com/albums/cc152/gocanesba/ |

Smokey, that's one awesome FL layout! Do you ever play Metamorphosis Alpha? You got your starship Warden right there. |

Funny you mentioned Serenity/Firefly. When I made FL I had not seen the show, since then I have seen them all. Fun stuff. I like the ship design, and the colour schemes and human touches. |

I'm really impressed by tht FL build, but I think I'm going to keep my FL build in the smaller free trader size. I was considering Shadowcore Prime for a larger space hulk type board. SCP offers modularlity as well as the alien bio-ship look. With modular 7x7 tiles, you can vary your layout as needed (build expansions as necessary). I forget who posted it, but someone posted pics of a good modular layout using SCP. I think they were using them as caverns for a fantasy setting. |
