After months of quiet work in conjunction with our printer/publisher and venture partner “Do-or-Dice” I finally sit here with the final product in my hands. I have to tell you that I had to pick my jaw up off the floor when I finally saw how crisp and rich the final prints were (There truly is no comparing a professional print to my meager home printer). Already this one product has generated some incredible interest in distribution circles only days after releasing an internal sell sheet. We are extremely excited with what the future may hold for us! Many have said “this can’t be done in a cost effective manner” well I’m proud to say that after many pitfalls we’ve come up with an affordable and innovative RPG product worthy of WorldWorks high standards. We’ve managed to get the price low enough and the item count high enough so that you simply cant afford not to buy our pre-printed products. In the end you are going to save tons of cash on ink, paper and perhaps most importantly your precious time. The real crowning jewel to this new product line is the inclusion of the full PDF version of the product on an interactive CDROM. Not only are getting 60 pages of 300DPI, high color depth, 110LB cardstock prints but you can print additional items from home. BELIEVE IT! The more products we convert to this standard the more money you will save! So help us generate some buzz about this thing. Tell your friends, family, doctors, lawyers, comic shops, game shops, tell em all! Hopefully this is just the beginning of a long line of pre-printed products from WorldWorks but ultimately it is you who will decide our fate. Enough of me blabbing…pictures are worth a thousand words! (When is it available?: in the next month or so) (How much will it cost?: MUCH Cheaper than printing from home) (Are you planning more conversions?: Yes, but again that depends on you) |

Ooooh.. very cool! :o I had not yet purchased any of your fine sets due to a wretchedly slow dial up connection. This looks like it will be my first purchase! Woohoo! Even though I have not been able to download your products yet, I have passed out quite a few of your free samples to my gaming groups and hope to pique their interest as well. Thanks for this fabulous product, Denny! |

So, what is next up for the printers? And if Maiden o' the Sea is what I think it is that might wll be worth my purchasing in the print version . For most of your products I prefer the flexibility of choosing what and how much, but I most likely wouldn't need more than 2 or thre (or four, or five) ships. And, again if my amazing sidekick ability doesn't fail me, I would likely need to print up the same number of most pages. (Not too many ships have more than one fo'csle for rexample. The Auld Grump, and it includes the CD, so I can still print as much as I need... Oh, and a silly point - you may want to include your flash movies used in the advertisements on the CDs, I get a kick from them every time, and they might work as a fun extra. |

The only comment I'd toss in at this point is that your packaging doesn't really make but the slightest mention of the CD-ROM. It sounds like a very basic add-in, but for someone who isn't familiar with WorldWorks, they may well not realize the full potential of being able to print AS MANY AS THEY WANT of ANY PIECE of the set. In future releases, you might want to look at how you could possably make a 'bigger deal' of the CD-ROM. It is a very important feature, not an afterthought. Other than that...wow. Just...wow! Please post contact information here that I can take to my local gaming stores and tell them "hey...call this number, talk to this distributer, GET THIS PRODUCT!" |

Holy Sweet Mother of God! I may just be sold on the pre-printed idea after all... Are the prints glossy like a magazine cover, or more matte/semi-gloss like a book? I remember a TSR product from years back that was glossy, ick. And die cut if I remember right, ick. And pricey, ick ick. Oh, and I totally agree with Andorax - hype the CD, it's a great selling point. Looks good on ya, Denny! D |

I would recommend you sell a set of outdoor buildings (VillageWorks? CastleWorks?) as your next pre-printed set. The reason? Because these can be used by non-RPG gamers: the medieval buildings can be used by fantasy miniature gamers, WW II gamers (European buildings in the rural areas of France, Germany, Belgium, etc.), and medieval historical gamers (Heur Fleur, Agincourt, etc.). The "Chunky Dungeons" set appeals to fantasy RPG'ers, and Mage Knight gamers, primarily. That's only part of the potential market you should be tapping into... Again, I don't know what the problem is with The Miniatures Page, Denny, but you are really losing out by not submitting news submissions to Bill Armintrout. His web magazine/forum, is the best source of free advertising for mini's gaming, that I know of. If you have had issues with Bill, I suggest, as a fellow businessman, that you resolve them, and get on with promoting your products through his media outlet -- it is free, and you will reach over one million viewers, each month, all for the cost of your time and effort, in putting together a press release. Be sure to include color photo's -- Bill runs them on his front page. Cheers! |
