I'm keen for this as well, however, I'm not so sure its an easy subject for paper models. Curved lines are hard to cut, curved slops are hard to work with. Its pretty easy to wind up with a wonky looking piece. I seem to recall that someone posted a colour hill for MWDA (Mech Warrior Dark Age) It was finaky to build, and odds were pretty good that you'd get it wrong. I think the Mars Station set has excellent canyons... Now to contrast to all this, you folks should look at a hot knife, latex paint, sand, and some white glue. Terrain really is easy if you go this route. Ruins seem to be missing from the World Works Games arsenal. Fantasy crumbling buildings would be neat, and Shot up cities would be great for Sci-Fi. |

Hmmm.... Wondering if I should try to tackle this one as well??? I would start on it but not sure if it would be a kit-bash or a full set so I'll wait till one of the big guys comes in and lets me/us know on what they think about it. *EDIT* You know the more I look at this the more doable I see it becoming. I could make several different shapes with each being 3 sizes 1'', 2'', and 3'' . I could also make them with paths/or roads. I got tons of ideas in my head for these since I could use them in my layouts I do!!! Would also bring a new look to an already built layout!!! |
