Hey Gang, It's that time of year again...no, not International Belly Lint Day but Christmas ![]() Anyway, I know we've been somewhat quiet lately but I can assure you that it's only because we've been working so hard to get various projects out the door. We've got a lot of great stuff planned for 2008 and there are many pokers in the fire... * One thing you may notice sooner than later is a broad push to spread our catalog out to a few prominent online stores. We've selected a core group of reputable stores who focus on quality and fair working relationships with their vendors, in an attempt to draw what we feel is a new crowd to WorldWorksGames. Those being Steve Jackson's e23, Piazo, YourGamesNow and last but not least Great White Games. All of these shops offer an environment which is generally much more conducive to growth than other online markets. Aubrey Erickson is taking the helm in managing our "virtual warehouse" and dealing more exclusively with customer service. * Our relationship with the good folks at Savage Worlds continues to grow. You can expect a few creative partnerships throughout 2008. * Wormhole is finally getting some traction and we are nearing the finish line. It is our great hope that this new paradigm will draw new fans to WorldWorksGames and help to promote future game development. We hope for big things with Wormhole and look forward to seeing how it all plays out. New expansions are planned for 2008 following the release of the core product. Speaking of which, we have a free supplement to start the promotions engine, which is on the verge of release. Keep an eye out for it later today Fri 21st ![]() * We are currently in talks with a major publisher to create a series of gaming mats. Talks include a potential tangible 3-D terrain system. Of course, it could fall apart but it's exciting stuff none the less. We should have more solid info there in the New Year. * Model sets! Model sets! Model sets! There is no end to the cool things we want to do. Just when we think we've pushed it as far as we can go, new ideas form which trump the old ones. The crew is at the top of their game and we have such delights planned. In the first quarter; A zombie invested Mall for Mayhem "Mayhem Mega-Mall", A demon infested ship "Hellworks III", A modern skate park gone bad "Urban Grind" and a yadda, yadda, yadda with a yadda "Yadda Yadda" (Can't talk about that last one yet). * Expect an expanded catalog of standees from Matt Cuenca and Alberto Silva! In fact, you can expect a really cool twist on standees in general in 2008. We plan on offering something that no one else is currently doing. Something we are certain you will love! * New game developments on the rise. We are creating a very unique spin on the apocalyptic Road Warrior format with "Maximum Road Rage". Expect crazy vehicular combat with an original slant towards insane stunts and more importantly, hand-to-hand combat on the move ![]() * DungeonLinX Adventures ongoing development. Bob Cooper's take on the "night with the guys" dungeon crawl, looks to expand our 2.5-D fantasy tile universe in some important ways. Beta testers are pushing us hard and we plan to push back with a great game. I know I'm forgetting something but the above sums up the bulk of what is bouncing around for the first half of 2008. As always we can't tell you how much your enthusiasm and support has meant to us throughout the year. You are the driving factor which fuels our creativity and pushes us to do better with each and every release. We thank you for that from the bottom of our big geeky hearts! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and an insanely prosperous, deliriously happy, healthy New Year. But remember, family first...always ![]() Denny |

Hey gang, I just wanted to add my own season's greetings to Denny's and also include a very personal big, fat THANK YOU to everyone of you. You guys make all this madness possible and we literally couldn't get by without your support (both the enthuastic kind and the kind that has small potraits of famous dead people on them)! So once again, thank you, merry (insert solstice-related religious observence here) and a happy new year to you all! |

Merry Christmas, and best wishes to all, especially Denny and the rest of the Crew. Great to hear about the what's brewing for next year. ![]() Good to see Fantasy is still on the list too (even if it is only 2.5D - of course new ground/street textures are fine at 2D ![]() Not to mention the fact some new buzz in that area is likely to draw people into the existing sets as well. ![]() Cheers, and have a wonderful Christmas/New Year all. Enjoying a summer Xmas, Zen |
