Post subject: | Cathedrae Noctis Question |
Denny/Matt I have started building Cathedrae Noctis using the "alternative" inner walls (the brown coloured ones as opposed to the blue ones). Unfortunately though, part way into my build, I have just realised that the interior arches only come in the blue colour. Is this intentional ? I am not far enough along in my build to tell yet, but I would have thought that these arches would be better provided in both interior colour options as well as the walls. Any comments ? Am I right in the colour mismatch or will it not matter when the build comes together ? If I am right, any chance of a patch in the near future ? Frank |

I'm in the process of bashing them out and also changing alot of stuff as I go. Right now I've got 27 pages done, but the sad part is that they won't see the kit-bash page because its basically the whole thing ![]() |

Brownified pillars should be ready soon. See, what we have here is one of those indescernable areas that lie between designer intent and user application. The brown walls were originally included because it occured to me that anyone making ruins would want a more uniform colour scheme (no roof to provide shadow on a ruin, after all). It never occured to me that people might want to build an entire cathedral in this scheme, hence no brown pillars. And for the record, yes, the blue side is the inside. Well, it's supposed to be anyway... ultimately it's up to you guys though, after all you paid for it! ![]() |

They are now available! Simply re-download the file, and look for the "Alternate Pillars" PDF. Remember, if you need your downloads reset, please send an email to custserv@worldworksgames.com and I'll get right on it. ![]() Thanks, Matt! --------- There's a thread for further discussion here: http://www.worldworksgames.com/forum/vi ... 8442#78442 |

Excellent! Downloaded! Printing! Sometime before this weekend I will have the build finished enough to play on! My witchhunters will burn the place to the ground! ![]() Actually, I have designed it with enough defense that taking it will be a bear and a half. Decent cover, elevated arcs of fire, good crossfire - a bear and a half. Is it wrong to design a place to be defensible with the intent of being the attacker. Getting Chaos out might not be a huge problem, given their lack of missile weapons, but Rieklanders or Dwarfs.... This is a sweet, sweet set. It would have been nice to see how the kids would do with it for the summer game. The Auld Grump |
