Oohh... Not only does that look mighty purty, it also seems like the top deck and lower deck separate, so it may be possible to play *inside* the lower decks. Scale looks larger than expected, but that could just be the picture. (I'm hoping for 75' by 25', so it'll match the ship our party commisioned in our D&D game...) |

Niiiicccceeee  !I just recently added GR, CW, DWC, AW, and SW LoSC to my collection  , but have been too busy lately to build and take pics, let alone pop in for a comment. But this is too hard to resist. From one pic I am already convinced the "Maiden" will soon be added to my collection. Nice work once again to both Denny and Paul, keep up the fantastic work, without WW I would still be playing on vinyl mats with wet-erase markers ( you can expect glowing references from me on all of them at RPGnow as soon as I have time).P.S. Hey emmagine, keep looking under rocks, it seems you've struck gold (er, I mean maiden ::)). |

Some general stats for you to help pre-plan a game using the Maiden: - Total ship length (useable upper deck): 28-inches - Ship width: 7-inches - Sterncastle length: 8-inches - Forecastle length: 4-inches inside, 3-inches forward bow - Lower deck (cargo & crew): 22-inches long, 7-inches wide - Hull height at highest point (Sterncastle included): 5.5-inches - General Hull height: 3-inches - Cannon portals: 8 (but could easily be converted into a 16 gun ship) Where the watermark would be is essentially where the Maidens lower decks end. If this set is popular enough I would like to create an expansion for the steerage deck below the water line (and some additional props). Just as a pre-warning to those nautical experts out there, this set has been designed for use with miniatures and therefore some of the dimensions are not entirely realistic. From the get-go I wanted this ship to be as easy as possible to build but still maintain the detail and realism of a real galleon. I think I've come pretty close to that mark. Looks pretty freakin' awesome. Even with a little inside scoop on the design *ahem* I'm still floored by the sneak peek! Nice work! One nagging question: how modular or configurable is the basic design? Is everyone's Maiden going to look essentially the same, or are there umpteen different ways the main ship can go together? D |

Except for sail, flags bowsprite and carvings or guilding most ships of any time period tended to follow similar lines. I am blown away!!!!! I was contemplating $250 for a resin galleon of 40 guns...the dimensions are similar......I bet it wil be LOTS less!!!! Another great product! |

I have a short list of items that allow users to customize their individual ships but this model will really shine in the "kitbashing" department. I can see people coming up with all kinds of crazy goodness with the elements included in the set. It won’t be difficult for people to modify the basic ship and come up with something unique. I'm hoping that it's a popular release because I would kill to see a fleet of these things doing battle in a tournament ;D The Maiden will retail for $15.00 USD and will include 1-inch, 1.5-inch and non-grided tiles. The following picture really doesn’t show just how expansive this kit is but it should wet your appetite. I'm currently tweaking a few textures and building the final elements for photography. For the most part the ship is complete (inside and out ) but I'm not comfortable showing certain things just yet. Stay tuned... |

Unfortunately this move is going to screw up my original release date a bit…Yes, that’s right I’m moving again. Soon I’ll be calling myself an “islander” which has all kinds of ironic overtones while working on the Maiden. Moving all of my earthly possessions to an island via a large boat has a cool kind of synchronicity with this upcoming release. I leave on May 30 so I will be out of the loop and difficult to get in touch with for at least three to four days. The Maiden is about 85% complete so once I get settled it shouldn’t take more than a week before she sails into the RPGNow port. If all goes well I will have additional teasers by late next week (once I get my studio reorganized) and a launch following shortly after. I busted my hump trying to get this thing done before my voyage but it just wasn’t meant to be. It pains me to delay it any longer but in the end I refuse to rush it out the door until it meets both my standards and yours. Talk to you soon! |

I've been a big fan since I discovered your site with Caveworks and have all of your sets. his weekend I am running a two-night Buffy the Vampire RPG and have created an underground crypt for the end game for Friday night and a large cave setup for Saturday nights ending.
