As many of you may or may not know our original image gallery was hacked by some challenged person with nothing better to do. This resulted in the horrendous loss of hundreds of fan submitted pictures. We attempted to retrieve those photos only to find that they were gone forever. I can't tell you how sad this made me personally as we lost many, MANY extraordinary submissions from a 6 year period. This was all at a time when our server backup situation was not consolidated and the image server itself was hosted by someone else. This has all been rectified and the image gallery is now firmly under our control. The very "bare bones" version is now up and running and will like change in appearance and functionality as we have time to pick away at it. A CALL FOR HELP! We are begging all WorldWorksGames users who have submitted in the past and or have yet to submit to please dump their WWG related photos to the new image gallery. If you have photo accounts set up elsewhere please consider moving those photos to the official WWG gallery so that everyone can share in your creations. If you have archived photos hanging out somewhere on your computer, even your REALLY old projects, PLEASE share them with us once again. I'm truly sorry that we lost all those original photos but I am hopeful that we can make up for some lost ground with a new flood of images. Great to see this making a comeback. I'll have a shuffle through my image folders and see if I have anything worth uploading still saved. Two quick points: 1) You mention probably changing the URL... I want to add my voice in support of this as the image gallery will, and should, encompass all of the WWG suite of terrain... not just Wormhole. 2) I like what I see of the gallery... but a black background definiltey makes the images pop more. On the other hand... it's nice to see something other than black for a change... Arabin |

Sorry I wiped my hard drive ages ago so I no longer have any pictures of any past build. All those models I had where destroyed in my mothers garage due to moisture damage (for the record I did tell her to store them in her attic). I could not bring my paper models over seas as I'm sure they would not have travled well. I will have to remember to reduce picture file size. Something I've never been good at. *EDIT* You don't have permission to perform this operation. I get this error message after it has uploaded the file and It is asking me to select the album and give it a title and description. After filling it all out I click to go to the next picture and it says You don't have permission to perform this operation. |
