so, since i'm a newbie here i have to ask:
what are megabashes exactly?
are they like kitbashes so that they need some other set to be usable,
or are they standalone?
please, enlighten me.

Megabashes have returned, this time with the hard work and effort of Curt Voiles (and some added effort by Aleph13, myself, and Snizitch to get it ready to roll). Megabashes are standalong sets, but they are still derived entirely from materials in another set. They're not up to the same rigorous qualitiative standards as regular WWG sets (though they still look great), and they don't introduce new textures, though they may combine old ones in very creative ways. If you want a good example of a Megabash, you can take a look at the only other one out so far...Crystal Caves: http://www.worldworksgames.com/store/in ... cts_id=213 Outpost 105's textures are taken from elements of Platform Command: Operation Nightwatch, and then built into whole new pieces, as seen here. |
