Post subject: | WorldWorks Store & Upgrades |
We are currently upgrading the official WorldWorks site to a faster and more reliable server. This transition should be seamless with little or no perceivable downtime. Thought we would give you the heads up in case you experience a hiccup or two over the next few days. The real big news here is that we are in the process of building an official WorldWorks online store. Finally, users will be able to buy directly from WorldWorks! For the first time we will be able to offer customers alternative payment methods, package deals, discounts and periodic specials. This more seamless integration will streamline the buying process and make things much more user friendly in general. We will still be offering our products on RPGNow and other outlets but we are attempting to shift focus to WorldWorks as the primary seller. We will NOT be integrating the controversial DRM system on our store so breathe a sigh of relief ![]() Don’t worry, we haven’t completely halted our ongoing projects but we are taking a few days to make some much needed enhancements to the site. Talk to you soon and as always the best is yet to come! |

That's great to hear Denny, was getting a little worried that you were going to end up closing shop soon, but as always you seek public opinion and listen. Here's to WorldWorks having better times, and will stick with you guys till you pack up shop and close ( ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Ah, excellent! The DRM contoversy had me worried as well. (Though with further thought I realized that while I o a fair amount of B&W printing at work (laser printer...), all my my color printing has been done at home. Still the ability to take World Works 'on the road' to print at need makes portability a desireable feature. The Auld Grump, just as well I put off taking the pirate cove to the festival, it has rained nearly every day this week at least a little, and while Yuhu is a marvelous glue it is a tad sensitive to moisture... |

Portland Maine here. You know given the number of steam era settings, games, and supplements coming out maybe it is not quite as small a niche as I thought. WARMACHINE in particular seems pretty popular 'round here. The Auld Grump, who used to play Space: 1889... |

No offense taken ![]() The whole point of the "colorful scheme" is to make room conceptually for our upcoming products that enter into new genres. With sci-fi and other genres on the way the site needs to reflect a general fantastic whimsy. You either dig multi-color color schemes or you loathe them. I understand both perspectives. The scheme really grows on you. Let it sit with you for a few days and you may see a method to the madness ![]() |

Too be honest I wasn't sure of the new layout, but after a week or so looking at it and really getting to grips with it I love the change! I'm so glad you kept the original logo however (But thats another story). So how is the storefront getting on? I cannot wait to buy directly from the site. Also will there be the pre-printed packs availible on it aswell as the downloadable PDFs? Additionally how about trying to secure a decent Shipping Rate to the Uk? ![]() Hanx Elrond |
