To be honest I purchased afew of the WW sets 6 months or so ago (Villageworks, Castleworks, Dungeonworks and Gothic Realms) and since then I have just lurked around the forums.

Firstly I'd like to thank Denny and the rest of the designers for creating these wonderful items, secondly I'd like to that many of the forum users here for inspiring me and giving me ideas, as I previously stated I've lurked since my first purchases.

Well with that out the way, I'll move on to the more important buisness of discusing how I am planning on using the sets! I say planning on using as i have not used the sets yet, but should be very soon.

I have started a Ravenloft Campaign with my group and we are running through the Night of the Walking Dead module. Now two of the players in the group both collect warhammer, and have beautifully painted minatures at their disposal (This is a massive change from my old group where we used unpainted 'naked' gray models). The groups current method of map drawning (whiteboard 'n' markers), while extremely useful for certian situations, does the models absolutely no justice and so I've decided to use WW sets for certian areas.

Any one whom has read the module will know that the players end up fighting zombies in a tomb, and I've drawn a map comprised of Gothic Realm pieces for this battle. I will put together this room using the set.

Also how compatibale are the D&D miniatures with Warhammer ones?

Elrond, I find that Warhammer are quite a bit "chunkier" than regular 25mm figures. (In reality, most 25mm figs these days are actually 30's) But Warhammer are even chunkier than regular. But so long as the bases are fairly close to the same ( and they fit in the grid ) everything should work out just fine.
