OK, so i wanted to do some 1" grid Hinterlands tiles. I prefer to work with 8" square tiles rather than the 7" ones (because my printer can handle 8" wide
) and so I figured I would just go ahead and do the work with PhotoShop. It;'s easy, really. I just enlarge the tile to 114.3%, and create an 8" grid to go over the top. The I lighten up the grid. I took it to 30%, which looks great on the monitor. The problem is, of course, that I only have PhotoShop on the old computer (lost my disc 
) and it takes FOREVER to compile. So I move it over to the new computer (thank you, memory stick!) and print it out, and the grid lines are almost invisible. I don't have another 8 hours to redo the whole shebang, I can do the grids with a ballpoint pen in about an hour total. So now I am getting writers cramp from this little project.
Just thought I would whine to the world at large about it
