This is one of those things where there are no right or wrong choices. Either set is going to have cool things that will look great. And there is going to be somethings you want that the set just doesn't have. Perhaps you should try planning a layout in advance. Find or create a map you want to build and then grab whichever set has the most useful bits. Its not as fun as randomly building some things just to see how it turns out, but it'll help save you time and money. For anyone whos making an initial purchase, the thing to do is look at the all the set pictures. Look for a layout that you wish you hand on your table. Buy that set and build it. That'll give you that satisfaction your looking for. My first build was this promo pic: Creating your own layout won't do the same thing. You'll spend too much time thinking "If I also got this set I could do this and this". Its no fun doing that unless you're actually going to buy those other sets. |
