The crew here at WWG have rallied together in order to help my 8 year old nephew Chase Ripper and family while they battle his ALL Leukemia. This battle started in 2006 and continues to this very day. With treatments and care running 24/7 through months (and years) I don't think I need to tell you what kind of toll this kind of thing can take on a families pocketbook. Urban Grind will be released as a donation based model set/mini-game. Contribute whatever you wish and if money is tight feel free to download it for nothing but do help us spread the word. All proceeds will be dumped directly into Chase's trust fund. Urban Grind will have an official release over the next 2 weeks. More information about the situation and the modelset is coming soon but until then here are some pretty pictures for you ![]() |

Great to finally see this. Mostly, it looks good, and is just as a skate park should be. I'll be picking it up, but mostly for the charity aspect. It does give lots of options for cover, varying heights, and falling damage, which is always a crowd pleaser. The half pipe really needs a third section in the middle, but that's an easy kitbash from the straight ramp, and could be a simple foldover to give it some sturdiness. The standees are always a difficult thing for me as, although I do like the art style, I'm not sold on the art style for miniatures I would use. Sometimes I like them, but I'm not really keen on this bunch. Strange things like the targets over the guy with two pistols... looks nice as art, but for a mini, I can't help wishing he didn't have the targets. Here we diddy come come! LOL Arabin |

Absolutely love it. I'll pick it up, and I've already linked the thread to my blag and my friends on the IRC channel. Hopefully, this will bring some people in for your charity. |

I posted a link to this thread on the Spycraft forums - it might be good for a forthcoming Street setting. The Auld Grump, sleep typist extraordinaire.... |

Ah, gotcha. Our original thought was to approach that just by separating the two quarter-pipes by a short distance. Barring that, the easiest solution would be to print a ramp out, possably thickened by sandwich-folding a like thickness under it, and place that between. |

I agree to what everyone has been saying about the addition to the halfpipe. And yes, Andorax, technically 2 quarter pipes would make a halfpipe, but in the skaters realm the halfpipe has evolved to what it is today to benefit better tricks for the skaters. Here is an actual pic of a skateboard halfpipe. |
