Post subject: | stuctures wanted: Pubs? |
I was looking to put a pub in the middle of my hinterland but I couldn't tell for sure if it had an exterior. I was also thinking about getting village works if it didn't but it does not have interiors. I don't have a program on my mac to flip the exterior images and I can't spend the money on both. So here are my questions: Does the pub have an exterior? Is there a free program for the mac that can flip images? Are there any other alternatives to buying both pubs and village? Thanks in advance! |

Well I have a mac myself and this is what Dr999 told me to use to get the hang of the kit-bashing http://www.gimp.org/macintosh/ As for exteriors, I'm not sure on that one. Someone should come along and help you with that one. |

Villages works for exteriors, combined with Interiorworks Pubs and Inns for the interiors, props etc. As a one-off purchase, you might consider the Classic Combo, as this contains contains suitable buildings (in CastleWorks original) and props (in CaveWorks original). Not as rich as the VillageWorks/Interiorworks combo, but enough for a simple pub. |

I do agree there. But do keep in mind that if you go that route yo will need to do some mirror printing and kitbashing. Its straight forward to do though. Still its an interesting idea. But if your going for a one item purchase, I think you should consider harbor master. Its got a much more extensive selection of relevant props. And I think it would make a really interesting building in the middle of nowhere. The pillar base is separate so you could leave it off if you wish. |
